Overview
NurseIO’s badge and level system gives facility users insight into an HCP’s experience, professionalism, and reliability—all at a glance. As an admin, it’s important to understand how this system works so you can support facilities and troubleshoot questions regarding visibility, qualifications, and performance-based filtering.
What Facility Users See
Badges and levels are displayed on the HCP profile card when viewed by a facility. These visual markers help facilities make fast, informed decisions when assigning shifts.

Admin Notes
Where it Displays: These indicators appear on the HCP’s profile card when a facility user is viewing available or past assigned clinicians.
Rolling Windows: Metrics like Top Earner and Preferred are based on rolling 180-day periods and automatically update.
Impact on Bookings: Facilities may prefer HCPs with high ratings or badges, so HCP visibility and success on the platform may be affected by these statuses.
Troubleshooting Tip: If an HCP doesn’t see their badge or level reflected, verify their credentials, shift history, and any recent cancellations in the admin portal.
Use Case for Admins
Admins should reference this structure when:
Assisting HCPs with questions about visibility or badge status.
Helping facility users understand why certain HCPs stand out in their search results.
Guiding support teams during escalations about shift assignments or badge discrepancies.
