The Post a Shift Function

Creating a shift with NurseIO is more streamlined and faster than ever!

  • Facilities can now quickly fill out shift details:

    • Location and date

    • Necessary licenses and certificates

    • Incentives, if any

  • Plus find qualified professionals with an easy side panel:

    • Search by name

    • Filter by overall rank

    • Sort by top-ranked, distance from your facility, or best match

    • Offer shifts swiftly with the “Offer Shift” button tagging the first clinician. Use “Offer Next” to offer the same shift to additional Healthcare Professionals.

  • You can offer shifts "Sequentially" and set your time between offers or "Simultaneously" and see which HCP picks up the shift first.

  • Clicking “Post Shift” will send an SMS, email, and app notification to the first Healthcare Professional. If declined, the offer moves on to the next HCP in the list.

Here's how to post a shift:

  1. Click on my shifts

  2. Select the shift you wish to fill, or use the plus sign to create a new shift

  3. Edit or complete the shift details

  4. Click "Find a Professional"

  5. Sort and filter HCPs to meet your needs

  6. Decide to offer your shift simultaneously to multiple professionals or sequentially one at a time based on the number of minutes between offers

  7. Click "Offer" or "Offer Next" to select the HCPs you wish to offer the shift to.

  8. Once you have selected one or more HCPs, click "Done" and then post your shift by clicking "Post shift"

  9. Your offers are on their way! We will let you know when an awesome professional accepts!

  • If no Healthcare Professionals accept, the shift becomes visible to all HCPs. Never miss a great professional on NurseIO!
