Follow these steps to cancel a shift in NurseIO, whether you are using the web interface or the mobile app. Be aware of NurseIO’s cancellation policy to avoid paying a cancellation fee.
Important: Cancelling within 2 hours of the shift start time incurs a fee equal to 2 hours of the hourly rate. No fee is charged for cancellations made more than 4 hours in advance.
Cancelling a Shift on the Web:
Log In:
Log in to your NurseIO account on the web.
Navigate to Shifts:
Go to the “Shifts” section at the top right corner.
3. Find the Shift:
- Locate the shift you wish to cancel and click the 'view' icon.
4. Cancel the Shift:
Click the “Cancel Shift” button in the top right corner.
Fill out your reason for cancelling and click continue.
Cancelling a Shift on Mobile:
Log In:
Log in to your NurseIO account using the mobile app.
Navigate to My Shifts:
Go to the “My Shifts” section.
Find the Shift:
Find the shift you want to cancel and tap the gray arrow.
Scroll down and tap the “Cancel” button.
Enter a reason for cancelling and confirm.
Cancelling a shift in NurseIO is straightforward. Be sure to understand NurseIO’s cancellation policy to avoid paying a cancellation fee. If you cancel within 4 hours of the shift start time, you will incur a fee equivalent to 4 hours of the hourly rate. No fee is charged if the cancellation is made more than 4 hours in advance.
